Tattoo Plus Tankini?

It’s the summer season once again and time to head to your favorite beach, lake or river. Warriors, what do you think about tatoos? We’ve never had someone order mastectomy swimsuits or a plus tankini and then tell us “we’ll take a tattoo with that”, but did you know that temporary tatoos are very popular?
These temporary tattoos are great because they involve no permanent changes to the skin, but look as if they have. Some are transferred to the skin using water. We hear that there are waterproof temporary tattoos available which can be removed easily with oil-based creams. Some are made out of vegetable dye and can last up to three weeks.
Have you heard of airbrush tattoos? The artist uses a stencil that comes in various desired shapes and symbols and sprays the skin with cosmetic paints. These can be rubbed off with water.
Most temporary tattoos involve ink, glue, a plastic sheet for protection, along with the front and back of a sheet of paper. The tattoo image is printed upon the front sheet with special ink, then a layer of glue is placed over the image. The plastic sheet is positioned over this sheet for protection of the image and glue covering.
When the tattoo is applied, it is transfered by removing the protective plastic sheet, positioning the image face-down against whatever skin is desired for tattooing. The backing is wettened by a wetting a napkin, paper towel or cloth. Then the back sheet is removed and (voila!), the tattoo is complete.
So, when checking out tankini swimming suits for women, we say you can always ask to have a tattoo with that. We welcome the request to the first but alas must defer you find other experts for the tattoo!
