There are dancing cruises for those without two left-feet. These are popular with many groups, including senior citizens. They provide various dance halls offering differenty styles of music. Like country? No? Then hit the reggae hall!
For those seeking thrills and chills, cruises with adventure themes are available. Pop on that plus tankini and try out the onboard surfing – wow! On many such cruises rock climbing is also available – can you imagine the view?
More in the mood for a romantic cruise with that special someone? There are age restrictions on most of these to ensure mature cruise adventures. These cruises are wonderful for celebrating weddings, anniversaries, or a private honeymoon. Grab those tankini swimsuits for women and your better half to watch a spectacular sunset.
Do you follow the stars? Perhaps a celebrity cruise is more to your liking. These are very popular and offer special onboard guests. These usually include well-known movie and television stars as well as musicians. Many times these cruises offer special dinners or breakfasts with the starts followed by autograph sessions. Our personal favorite themed cruise is one aboard the Carnival ship Elation. It is the Thrivers Cruise – coming in 2012. This cruise is sponsored by Breast Cancer Wellness magazine (BCW) and is their 6th annual cruise for breast cancer survivors from across the country. This wonderful cruise will set sail out of New Orleans, Louisiana and includes two nights in the French Quarter. This one heads out in April of next year so you have plenty of time to plan.
Discovering new themed cruises have become our favorite pastime here at Haka…well, after finding more tankini swimming suits for our favorite warriors, of course!
